AnyPort Acquisition

Earlier this year AnyPort merged its operations with a company called MyPort – an operator in the hotel wireless space. As a result of the merger the two companies were able to benefit from economies of scale and have significantly grown since then. This merger has meant that users can now log on and use their accounts at more than 60 locations around Australia – effectively doubling the number of locations.

On the 31st of October 2007, Michael Fairweather (owner of AnyPort) decided to retire from the business and as a consequence sold his equity to David Wadley (Owner of MyPort).

Due to the complications associated with managing and maintaining two brands it was decided that all sites would be rebranded as MyPort sites.

What does this mean for existing AnyPort users ?

All existing AnyPort users can still use their username and password to log on at any of the existing AnyPort locations. As an added bonus you can now use your account at any of the MyPort locations - Click Here for a list

What does this mean for existing AnyPort host sites ?

MyPort has assumed responsibility for and will honour all existing contracts and agreements until further notice is given.
